Honoring Women in our Lives
By ShiaSisters.net Members

Women have played a very important role throughout the history of Islam and continue to do so today in the roles of mothers, sisters, daughters, grandmothers, aunts, leaders, educators, as well as motivators. Women have changed and reformed societies at all levels in many different ways. Everyday in our lives, we come across a woman who has in some way or the other inspired us!

We have asked ShiaSisters.net Members to write about an Inspirational Muslim Woman in their lives, be it their mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, teacher, neighbor or someone who they happen to sit beside at the mosque.
