My mother ... my inspiration!

The moment I feel a ray of hope
In an hour of distress or in that mope.
I know you're waiting there to ride
Like an angel standing by my side.

You wiped away every drop of tears
And shooed away all my silly fears.
You stood by me in thick and thin
And watched me grow with a simple grin.

Now distance separates us and
Boundaries have no end.
It's now that I yearn for you,
My strength, support, security and my only friend.

You were patient, simply perfect,
I love your attitude! My full-time respect.
I'm not the perfect girl and this I know is true
I never took time to say dear Mom, how much I love you.

I'm grateful for the times we've shared
And look forward to the rest.
