Imam Hussain(a.s.)'s message is for every human being, it is for every time and it is for every place.

Imam Hussain(a.s.)'s message is of standing up for the truth no matter what it takes; Imam Hussain's message is not bowing down to oppression and injustice; Imam Hussain's messag is of sacrificing all you have to uphold justice.

Applying Imam Hussain (a.s.)'s message in my life means to me:
to be honest;
to be proud of being a muslim and a shia muslim;
to convey the truth to others;
to help the needy;
to try my best to do right;
to do whatever it takes to make sure injustice does not prevail.

thats very true... an interesting thing i learnt was that imam hussein fought against dhulm thus to apply it and prove that we are on imam husseins side is we must do the same...commiting a sin as one of the dhulms(on ones own nafs-self)
thus if we really want to fight against dhulm we must first stop doing dhulm on ourselves..

You are so right. We really need to evaluate ourselves first if we really want to follow the message of Imam Hussain . What a way to look at committing sins---doing 'dhulm' on oneself...amazing insight sister.
